Who we are
Dart is an independent search tool that helps you find intercity buses, trains and microbuses across Egypt. We are not affiliated with any transport operator.
What we collect
Dart does not require an account. When you run a search, the cities and date you choose are sent to our own API to return matching trips. If you sign up for the launch waitlist, we store the email you provide, the language you were using, and the sign-up timestamp — used only to notify you when Dart is available in your city and then deleted on request. We keep aggregate, non-identifying logs to operate and improve the service.
Location
On mobile, Dart may ask permission to use your device location only to pick the nearest departure city and pre-fill the “From” field. Your coordinates are used on-device and are not stored on our servers or shared. The app works normally if you deny the permission.
Booking with operators
When you tap to book, you leave Dart and go to the transport operator’s own website or app. Their handling of your data is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. Dart never adds a markup and does not process payments.
Third parties
We host the service on Vercel and query transport operators’ public endpoints to return schedules and fares. We do not sell your data.
